When Haitham Abu Daqa’s 5-month-old daughter developed a heart problem that could not be addressed near their home in Gaza, the family sought medical help in Jordan, where she underwent successful open-heart surgery.
After the surgery, Daqa’s wife, who was with their daughter, pleaded with Jordanian officials to be allowed to stay. She feared that little Nevine’s recovery would be at risk in the war-ravaged Palestinian enclave that has few functioning medical facilities. But the officials insisted that the family had to go home.
“How can I take care of the girl while I am living in a tent, and at the same time, the bombing doesn’t stop,” Daqa said, sobbing. “How dare they send her back? If there is treatment in Gaza for her case, why did they take her in the first place?”
I mean, you really can’t blame them one bit after Black September.
The Jordanian King is a puppet for the Colonial powers. He doesn’t want to do anything to upset his Imperial masters like treating Palestinians as human beings
Is not that easy.
Palestinians are not always been just victims. Jordan hosted many of them after one of their wars against Isreal and since they couldn’t come back home, after a while they decided to try take over Jordan who was helping them.
So no surprise they don’t want to deal with them anymore.
Palestinian extremists. Not just Palestinians, but yes the extremists have a history of doing this in every country that took them in.
However realistically that’s probably just an excuse. They just don’t want to have to pay and provide resources to house a bunch of refugees and the first country that agrees to take them in will probably be required to house the majority of them and permanently since Israel probably won’t let them go back.
The extremists don’t help the matter though.
after a while they decided to try take over Jordan who was helping them.
Hadn’t heard about this, can you give a link?
Search (Jordan) Black September.
King Hussein was literally put on the throne by the British. He made a secret deal with David Ben Gurion not to join the Arab counterattack during the 1948 Naqba in return for taking possession of the West Bank.
It is true that the PLO tried to overthrow the King in the 1970s and were kicked out of Jordan as a result but the Hashemites have always been on the side of the colonisers.
Everybody there was put by the British (or French), the colonial era had to finish somehow. Many blames the British for that (well they made many mistakes of course), but it wasn’t so easy.
Palestinians could have the whole country as well. While in talks with the British the Mufti Al Husseini was proposed that, but he wanted also all the jews expelled, so the British turned down the all deal.
I won’t say the British has been awesome, but it’s pretty normal to understand they tried to save their influence. While the Palestinians also didn’t played so clear (Al Husseini founded later the Nazi SS in Bosnien).
I want Gaza free, I’m happy my governement recognizes Palestine, I want a state for Palestinians, but I don’t like Palestinians so much, they cretaed a lot of stupid shit, from Al Husseini down to Hamas.
This entire comment is pure distilled Israeli propaganda. That “Al Husseini” guy was appointed by the British.
So, everything bad = British. Isreal bad - Pelstinians good?
Such a deep thinking.
It’s Russian thinking, and it translates oddly to the west.
The Arab counter attack?
During the first phase of that war, the Civil War from November 47 to May 14, 1948 it was Arab militias that attacked Jewish communities.
During the second phase of that war, it was the Arab League that invaded Israel on May 15, 1948
Imagine if the Arab states never invaded from the beginning and just were ok with Jews existing next door to them.
We know the Jews would have been ok with Arab Muslim states existing next to them as there are currently many Arab Muslims living and working in Tela Viv.
The Israelis attacked the Arab communities far before the Arabs decided to stage a counter attack.
Alongside this dispute, the uprising was also triggered by the refusal of Zionists to accept British offers of shared representation in Palestine which was accepted by Palestinian leadership.
Dispossession of Palestinian tenants from land bought by the Jewish National Fund also contributed to the riots.
Thanks for proving my point.
Jesus, is reading that hard for you?
The riots took the form, for the most part, of attacks by Arabs on Jews accompanied by destruction of Jewish property. During the week of riots, from 23 to 29 August, 133 Jews were killed by Arabs, and 339 Jews were injured, most of whom were unarmed.[2][3] There were 116 Arabs killed and at least 232 wounded, mostly by the Mandate police suppressing the riots. Around 20 Arabs were killed by Jewish attackers and indiscriminate British gunfire.[4][5]
I was not there, but from what I understand, mainstream historical accounts say Arab militias attacked first in '47
Then the Arab League attacked first in May '48
The Arab League voted against the UN proposal

They do not. Israeli terror groups had been attacking Arabs far longer.
Go look up Plan Dalet. Israel planned their Nazi style ethnic cleansing.
If they think this will save them, let them turn their eyes to Syria. 😔
