I agree with not bitter/cardboard. It tastes exactly like… plain peanuts. Or at least it should if it’s natural.

Depends on the kind you get. 100% natural tastes very “plain” as it’s just peanuts (the only ingredient). Personally, it’s a bit too plain for my taste. But as others have said, unless you really enjoy peanut butter, you should watch how much you put on delicate types of foods. Get a slice of bread, a thin spread of peanut butter, jam if it’s your sort of thing, and a nice cup of tea. Delightful.

I really don’t want “2” to be a thing. The “trailer” felt like an insult for using the Beyond Good and Evil name for marking. There was nothing about it that had the spirit of the first game.

If there ever is a remaster, then I hope it keeps the original artistic style. Lots of remasters get this wrong.

Such a weird game! The artstyle and just the “weirdness” of it is out of this world.

I’m not a fan of turn-based battles, but this is one of the few games (including Chrono Trigger) where it’s legitimately fun. To this day I still think about it.

Strongly recommended! It’s one of those rare games where you don’t want a “sequel” because there’s no way it would be in the spirit of the first game. Especially today.

It’s a phenomenal metroidvania too. The visuals might be off-putting at first, but the game has so much soul. Excellent music too.

This is based on someone else’s reply I read once. Developers have been trying to put themselves out of their own jobs since the beginning. Automating/scripting things, creating tools, IDEs, etc.

Development is so much more than generating/writing boilerplate code. Code plays such a small role as opposed to figuring out how to solve a problem or even figuring out what the problem is in the first place.

I spent several days figuring out why an HTTP POST in prod wasn’t working. But an identical one was working locally. Turns out there was an application server change that deceased the max request param size. The Dockerfile was configured so that the patch version (semver) was updated automatically. This was a super interesting challenge (felt like Sherlock Holmes with this one).

Try having ChatGPT/etc. figure that one out.

All of this hubbub might produce some kind of toolset that could augment what we already do (i.e. IDE). But replacing people entirely? I don’t think so.

A very well put together Metroidvania. The map is very fun to explore, good boss fights, great music, and interesting story.

There was a merger, but maybe not entirely different developers.

I loved it and it’ll be a day 1 purchase for me. Amazing how they’ve nailed every one of their games considering how differently they play (e.g. Dig, Heist, Quest).

I’m happy to support the devs and the SteamWorld “universe” they’ve built.

Weird, I don’t have this issue. I’m using a Zenfone 9.

The game also has “hazard” (difficulty) levels you can set when creating a mission. But the game doesn’t demand a lot of skill/twitch unless you’re on hazard 4/5.

It’s one of the best coop games IMO. You can play it for a bit, leave, then come back without worrying you missed out on content/skills/etc.

As others mentioned, if any worthwhile subreddit goes dark, then the mods will be replaced and it’ll be brought back.

Creating some noise works only if anyone is listening and willing to respond and enact change. Absolutely not in this scenario. The sad reality is the vocal ones are in the minority in the grand scheme of things. The 50k people leaving is, probably, pocket change and aren’t the ones that the platform is geared towards nowadays.

I have the base game. I played for a couple hours but haven’t got the “hook”. It feels very… unfulfilling… “objective marker on map, done, next”. Maybe not for me or I’m playing it wrong?

Honestly I still come back to old school RuneScape every now and then for that comfy nostalgia. Even as I type I get that pang to go questing.
