I’m going international and normally travel very light (1 carry-on). But this trip needs a camping tent.

The tent (in the cover) measures: 25.6" x 3.5" / 29.9 L. Weight 7.3 lbs.

My flight (Condor) includes:

  • 8kg pieces of hand baggage
  • x1 23kg baggage

I’m worried about the dimensions. I assumed I’d need a checked luggage, but we’re talking 26" here and most bags are much under that.

The tent hasn’t arrived yet, so I don’t know if there’s any “bending” allowed. But I’d like to see if anyone here deal with something similar.
