McLaren has announced a multi-year contract extension for Formula One team principal Andrea Stella.
Stella, who joined McLaren in 2015, initially served as head of race operations and performance director before being promoted to executive director of racing in 2019.
“It’s a privilege to be part of the McLaren F1 team, and I am honored to continue in my role as team principal,” Stella said. “We’ve made great strides forward in the past year-and-a-half and we still have a lot more work to do to consistently fight at the front of the grid, which poses an exciting challenge.
Smart move on McLarens part to lock him down, prevents Audi signing another one, do I need a /s for that last part?
