I like it a lot. It makes the device feel really cohesive between apps. And changing the color every now and then feels like a breath of fresh air. Also, the pastel colors help to get rid of blue/grey tones which is easier for the eyes.
I use Muzei and the Bing Wallpaper plugin, so I get a new colour every day. ;)
I absolutely adore Material You. In my opinion it’s the best Android design to date.
It is important to me that apps support it, along with automatic dark mode detection and themed icons.
The only downside I heard about it is that the accent colours can be used to uniquely identify a user (i. e. tracking). This seems to be the reason for GrapheneOS shipping with a black wallpaper by default.
