I think the people who want free and opensource social media overlap with people wanting a free and opensource OS. But I don’t think everyone here uses linux and I don’t think most people that do are obnoxious.

I think windows also kinda sucks for older people and less technologically inclined people.

Windows is what people are used to, doesn’t mean it is better. I think there are a bunch of linux distros that would work just as well for older people.

ah I see what you mean now. Yea I agree mostly, but sometimes I don’t go out with my phone for a reason (if I’m running or just don’t want to think about my phone) and sometimes I then see something I want to photograph. As I said, very niche, but might be slightly useful for some people.

If you don’t want to carry your phone, I don’t think you would want to carry a often heavier photography device. Besides that most people don’t have a specific photography device.
