I have a friend who has been using an e-cigarette for 10+ years. He doesn’t seem any less addicted to smoking as back when he was using old-fashioned cigarettes.
I understand e-cigarettes are supposed to help you quit… but has anyone actually had success with them? Or, is it more like trading one vice for another?
I actually found that ecigs made my lungs feel worse that actual cigarettes, I don’t know if it was popcorn lung or what, but it made my chest feel incredibly tight, and it didn’t matter the juice type/brand or strength. I’ve resigned that sheer will power is the only way I’ll quit.
The chemicals that cause popcorn lung haven’t been in vape juice for years.
Maybe, this was a long time ago. I tried vaping again a couple years ago, and while it wasn’t nearly as bad, it still wasn’t great.
