I should probably figure out some way to keep my bookmarks. I’m using 3 browsers (FF, Tor Browser, Bromite - soon to be replaced). I dont want online sync or accounts. Just a way to keep it in one place with export/import/backup.
ColorNote can receive bookmarks through sharing including titles, at least one by one. But another thing is I’d like to replace CN with something foss, not rely on it even more.
Anyone has the same dilemma?
floccus bookmark sync, it’s selfhosted
Raindrop.io, Pinboard, Linkding, Wallabag, NextCloud
Aren’t raindrop and Pinboard online-only?
Nah, you can export raindrop stuff. Or could, I haven’t done it in a while because it syncs. They may have changed things though.
I believe raindrop has offline/sync capabilities
I use Bookmark Folder. It works really great.
As default browser (in android settings and bookmark folder settings too) i use URLCheck, from Fdroid.
Bookmark Folder
URLCheckI wanted to look at the dev’s privacy policy that’s linked on GPlay https://coconuts.boy.jp/en/policy/privacy_policy.html and it got blocked by five privacy and ads blocklists. I don’t know if I’d give them my bookmarks.
Disable internet for that app. Problem solved.
