Because other them that, I cant See any reason why people who survived cancer should be more religious than ones who didnt.
If anything, they should be less Religious and more sceptical, since their prayers either didn’t help their cancer, or they denied all treatment recognizing that - since their God is all knowing and everything bad that happens to them happens for a reason, therefore - making Human intervention like medicine a sin and detaching from god, died. And the only ones remaining were the ones who recognized that God dosent exist and we already live in the 9th circle of hell.

They’re running away from her because her touching them is a huge religious taboo for them. But it doesn’t make them less dangerous, if she were immobilized there’s every chance they could do real damage to her.
The reason the double-Jews don’t want to get conscripted for service in Israel has nothing to do with an unwillingness to do violence. It’s because they’re afraid of what will happen to their young devotees when separated from the cloister and exposed to everyday Israelis.

Why are religious people so scared of everything when they have a god “on their side?” In highschool I stapled a poorly printed image of bagul onto a tree at the edge of the woods facing a Catholic Church. Like It was so lazily done I didn’t even do it behind a bush, you could clearly see the straight line of the edge of the paper, cops got called. Thankfully the cops didn’t care, as far as I’m aware, they didn’t even bother looking into it.

It was just a goofy prank back in the day. Bagul was always “hiding” in the background and you rarely notice it, but he’s there. But I made it so half-assed it didn’t even remotely look like something that could be hiding. It lookd like a picture hanging on a tree.
