Generally speaking, you shouldn’t do anything on the internet that you absolutely don’t want to become public. If you don’t want people to know your votes, don’t vote.

Because socialism generally speaking works really really badly? Taxation should ideally be zero, but since there are obvious things 99% of us agree that should be funded in a centralized way, we have to have taxes.
The point of taxes is not to make everyone equal, the point is to fund those important things. For instance: police, military, education, basic healthcare (perhaps), charity for the less fortunate and certain natural monopolies like utilities.
Here in Europe, where we are not burdened by two-party systems :-|
You’re referring to this guy? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evgeny_Lebedev
It seems you’re confusing him and his father: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Lebedev
Harris moves to the left on domestic economic issues, and boomers switch to her.
You might be making a classical correlation is not causation mistake here. There are a lot of separate reasons to prefer Harris over Trump.
Trans activists are super weird.
She’s misogynist?
Aren’t they already practically public, given the federation?

What a great comment! Well done you, I am proud of you!
While shopping around for a distro for my gaming box, I tried NixOS and Bazzite. Both were fine, but the atomicity made everything more complicated without any practical upsides for my use case.
So I’m just using Nobara, which is a gaming-optimized Fedora. For my laptop, I’m just using Arch, it’s much less hassle. The declarativeness of centralization of NixOS is alluring, but I don’t really need it.
That sounds like an incredibly horrible idea with tons of unintended consequences. I hope almost nothing less than a Trump presidency, so I hope this is not a sign of things to expect from her campaign.
Then again, people are dumb, so if this somehow convinces them to vote for her instead of the orange catastrophe, it might be fine.
New russian strategy: flood the prisoner camps of Ukraine. It’s a variation of a zerg rush.
Oh right. How amazing that one of my highest upmodded comment is the one where my comment is objectively full of shit

Probably some sort of a clashing of bubbles that’s due to social media being a broken thing. We are all imagining our own version of what is being reported and what people are saying and then extrapolating from that the character of the other people talking.
My fault obviously for entering the discussion in the first place. I wasn’t trying to even accomplish anything, just procrastinating. It’s not as if anyone’s gonna change their minds based on these discussions. Everyone’s just trying to “win” them, whatever the fuck that means.
I’m sure I could find a situation where it has indeed happened, but that would only serve to further incite hatred. I don’t want to do that.
I’m talking about general principles here.

I don’t need to present examples for this (= rights should not impede rights) to be a valid general position. Not everything is a dog whistle.
If Russian moral values didn’t include brutal militaristic expansionism, this might be not a bad idea.
