I am the Walrus
Just trying to take it easy for all those sinners.
Could ya stop slurping Putin’s boot for a few seconds?
Yup literally just instance banned em. So gross some users are.
You’ll always be Slippin Jimmy
Lebowski.Social has also held back with the 0.19 upgrade. We are monitoring lemmy.world for now and will make our upgrade after that most likely.
I personally use python
plus AWS SES to handle outgoing mail. Sure you have to have an AWS account, setup the SES feature, and get out of the AWS sandbox but once that’s front loaded you have a great little e-mail service.
Any instance on 0.19 or higher will likely continue to have federation issues. The devs reopened this issue: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/4288
Welcome!
Go back to school dude, and this time stay awake during the lecture.
Next time try not sleeping through your history class champ? That’s a famous historic Churchill quote.
You’ve missed the entire point of Federation then.
Things happen man. Consider how worse your idea of consolidation to only “approved stable” instances (oh boy Reddit again) goes against the Fediverse.
These are the big early days, you want stability you should head back to Tumblr.
And no, no affiliation with the sub.
A lot of network admins are blocking domains like *.zip and *.mov because the majority of them are used for malicious link abuse and it isn’t worth the work to check them.
If you operate a *.zip instance: now is the time to take the hit, and start over at a proper domain. If you’re a Lemmy user at one of these TLD instances: now is the time to take the hit and move to another instance with a regular TLD.
