I more mean just like how I’m meant to interact with it, I’ve never really used it so it’s taking a little bit to wrap my head around it.

I didn’t mean how to use the microblog feature, I meant how to interact with microblog content and how I should format it when I post it. also, even if the topic was how to use the feature, there is nobody in mbin meta.
unfortunately, a lot of the time they really don’t have a choice at the store level. I know it’s not the most helpful suggestion, but maybe reaching out to corporate to let them know there are people who want that could help. good luck on your lard quest.
I had forgotten about that… maybe instead of banning it outright it should be restricted to plastics that are certified heating-safe. in hindsight that should’ve been my take from the start as it aligns much better with my political views (in this case, it matters that I believe most things should only be restricted and not banned outright, an easy example being substances like weed and alcohol).
make communities, tell people about them on Reddit, about all you can do. “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink”.
first the bag thing is not even remotely a us only thing, and second heating food in plastic is sanitary (bc that refers to cleanliness). idk what term would be best for heating food in plastic, but I do agree it should be banned.
side effects of Boomer economic policies and their ignorance regarding the changes they caused
oriole moment
that’s why I said you’d be ok
probably not going to attack you, but if it does you should be ok because you are bigger and stronger
I’d help but I can’t really code very well yet, unfortunately reporting bugs is about all I can do for the time being
So Kate is one too then, right? it has all of that and was designed for it to be used as an IDE.
Doesn’t seem to be on that list but Interstellar is the only Mbin app and it could use some more devs
I’m interested in that too, where’s the line and how much does it matter?
that does work, it’s a little clunkier than i’d like but it’s better than the code not running
hey look, threads can do something Lemmy can’t! shame it’s the only good thing they can do
can’t say I’m convinced of anything by a logo change…
I’ve tried Kate, vscode, some python one on windows (idk which one it was years ago), kdevelop, and I think a couple others but I forgot which ones.
I believe both clang and gcc are present on my system right now. and yeah, the Kate documentation was a little lacking. they do have little pop-ups letting you know though
it means that it needs to be an actual maintained organization, not Jim bob and his buddies threatening anybody they don’t like. it’s also not a requirement, it’s only the reasoning provided.
