Yioto is a great indie dev with lots of gems, but I particularly recommend Antiyoy.

I’d also recommend Battle for Polytopia.

I’m fairly certain both these turn based strategy games will work fine offline.

I recommend Weawow.

Odd name. Great app and widget. Single, dedicated developer and very simple monetization hook (just a donation, if I recall correctly).

Multiple data sources supported, and very customizable.
