Quickly going back twice always works with MS forums. First page logs you in (or fails) and the second is the page you wanted to go.

I think this applies to recent products, we have quite a few 10+ yo devices which still function as they did when new. PCs, half-smart 1080p TVs, first and second gen iPads (one iPad 2 has %98 battery life after 500 cycles) etc.
FF iOS still offers Mozilla sync and partial ad blocking but no extensions are available.

Nope, you can install extensions to regular FF for a while on Android. Go to addons.mozilla.org and install like how you would do it on desktop. Request desktop site if extension claims to be incompatible.
