  • Here they still exist - they just make you pay if you want a new one. I (and seemingly most people) use them all the time still, but I guess more people reuse them more times now. I’m quite happy to pay 30p for one when the old ones get used up. I think they’re a bit sturdier than they used to be too - so less likely for the handles to snap when you’ve still got a mile to walk home.

I guess it mostly cut down on unwanted ones getting littered etc. Now they’re valuable, all the more reason to hoard them in a cupboard in the kitchen.

Where you are it sounds like they stopped existing - what do you put your food shopping in? Do you still have a thousand left that you previously hoarded?

  • Don’t worry, it all balances out - his family just min-maxed his character into music. Most of his stats were comically low. For example, Mozart was really bad at ordering food from a drive-through or even ordering a takeaway by phone or through an app.

Other things Mozart was shit at:

    • Using a mobile phone
    • Riding a bike
    • Driving a car
    • Microwaving his own dinner
    • Using a computer
    • Assembling flat-pack furniture
    • Mariokart
    • Wiring a plug
    • Installing Linux
    • Fastening velcro shoes
    • Using self-service at the supermarket
    • Using a toaster
    • Celebrating his 36th birthday

He couldn’t do a single one of those things. You can probably do at least two of them. So what if he beats you at music?

  • Looking at some of these… I’d never even considered sectioning them by genre - mine’s mostly by physical location - if I want to play that game, where’s it already installed?

    So there’s :
Desktop, Laptop, Deck Internal, Deck SD1 (and SD2, 3 & 4 for removable SD cards)

Then like most people, I’ve got a “Complete” and a “Maybe [person’s name]” for ones the missus might enjoy.

The only sort of grouping is “Wheel Games”, which is basically driving games, but the type you want to play with wheel & pedals, not just a controller. My wheel and pedals aren’t set up permanently, so when they are set up, I pretty much only play all the Euro Truck/Bus Sims, Dirt Rally, F1, Revhead, BeamNG sort of games etc.

  • To be fair the original knowledge was flawed.

Temptation is more of a Ooh-e-Ooh Ooh-e-Ooh Ooh-oo-oo-ee-ooh Ooh-oo-oo-ee-ooh, so I can see the confusion.

However, unless they’ve changed it in the last few years, I would have said Doctor Who is more

    Wee-Ooooh Whoo-Ooh-Oo-Oo (Daddle-a-da daddle-a-da daddle-a-da daddle-a-daddle) Whoo-oo-oo wh-oo wh-oo-oo. (Daddle-a-da daddle-a-da daddle-a-da daddle-a-daddle)

[Edit] Apologies, I’ve just realised you were replying to a reply of a reply, I didn’t follow the little lines properly and got confused.
