Conservatism is fucking weird. They spend their lives obsessed with gender, race, religion, guns, and children — like a communicable disease of authoritarian narcissistic pedophilia — while calling the people who want to conserve the Earth “radical”.
It’s a mental illness.
The problem is that greed & sociopathy are, fundamentally, rewarded by every single system that humans have ever devised, and the single and only safeguard is a properly educated and logical (sane) citizenry who understand that, a community is interdependent, Rome wasn’t built in a day, civilization is a product of the collective and, are willing to take action to defend that collective.
The rub is that the wealthy/powerful will always try to attain more power/wealth, so unregulated, centralized, capitalism/socialism is guaranteed to result in the most immoral, unethical, sociopathic, criminals being the most successful. All they have to do is succeed once, while we have to defend for infinity.
Don’t make the mistake of applying logic where there is none.
To conservatism, logic might as well be a quantum superposition based entirely upon the contents on your feefees, at any given planck time.
Certainly not the thing that has already taken the completely unprecedented step of updating decades old rulings, and absolved Trump of his national security crimes?
Side note: I’d really like to know what evidence they have for stating that a country is “suspected”. If the only reason is that traffic was routed through a countries IP addresses, then literally anyone anywhere can do that; otherwise it’s essentially disinformation and they can “suspect” whomever is geopolitically relevant at any given time.
Climate change means we probably won’t exceed 9 billion anyway.
Once crop failures, drought, and extreme weather cause resource wars, famine, climate refugees, and double digit inflation, the population will start to fall rapidly.
Who do you think will control the kill bots? It’ll be the ultra wealthy who lead the remaining governments and corporations. Populations have historically revolted under severe economic stress, even when unemployment reaches 30-50%, and capitalism requires people receiving money in exchange for labor, so they can pay for goods and services; at a certain level of automation/unemployment that cyclical system shuts down. Robots don’t get paid, and they don’t buy goods or services.
When that happens the ultra wealthy will no longer have any need for the unemployed majority. They will have a means to suppress them (kill bots, wealth, political power), and numerous ecological/environmental reasons to cull the population down to a more manageable, sustainable size.
I’m guessing they’re trying to draw resources from the Ukrainian front, which might allow them to reclaim territory.
We’re gonna find out as soon as AI, automation, and robotics are more cost efficient at performing most functions than humans.
My expectation is genocide/mass murder, as there are somewhere between 10-100x more people than the planets resources can sustain long term, at a developed world rate of consumption and the current level of technological efficiency/advancement.

The problem is that they auto-opted all users into it, without giving notice or warning about what it is. They’ve done this before too with other “experiments”. Now ask yourself this! If the Democrats represent freedom and Trump is the greatest threat America has ever faced (HE IS), why do the Democrats tolerate a turnkey totalitarian surveillance apparatus? Why would you watch the country straddle the precipice of fascism, and let a big brother style, gustapo surveillance apparatus, exist for your successor to just take over and command. Only 0.00000001% of your employees have ever stood against your criminal behavior, and you expect us to believe that these people would defend us from a hostile government or adversary?
