  • No, they are smaller. The largest size is 30cm which is enough for me though. The most expensive one with that size costs 11,50€. Another delivery place has 32cm ones. Most expensive there is 9,40€. There is nothing inherently wrong with them. They aren’t from an Italian restaurant though and aren’t the same quality you would get in a real restaurant. They still taste good and satisfy your pizza cravings though. Delivery is free too if you’re over the minimum order balance. From what I’d guess they are on the are more like those fast food pizza places like Pizza Hut or Domino’s but I’ve ordered like maybe once from them so I’m not sure.

Maybe we both use deliveries differently. If I order something for delivery I don’t expect Restaurant quality food. If your pizza is from a Italian restaurant and is really well made/restaurant quality I see why it’s so expensive. For me delivery is more “fancy” than fast food but not as “fancy” as actually eating in a real restaurant

  • French people are busy hating on themselves. I’ve heard about French people hating on people from Paris so since Ive ment French people during my exchange/foreign semester I tried asking them if they really hate people from Paris and they confirmed it for me. All non Paris French people hate on Paris French people lol

List is a bit outdated. Minimum wage in Germany is 12,41€ not 12€. Can’t say how outdated the other entries are though. But that list still doesn’t disprove the statement above. While it could be seen as unlikely there is no rule out there that fast food employees have to make minimum wage. I wouldn’t work at a fast food place for minimum wage. I make minimum wage delivering newspapers on 2 days. I would expect a fast food employee to make more. Haven’t seen a recruitment ad recently because I don’t often go to fast food places (countable on 1 hand for a year) but I’ve seen grocery store recruitment ads for cashiers recently and they get more than minimum wage. I mean of course they do, as if someone would want to work as a cashier for exactly minimum wage

Oh yeah. I did an exchange/international semester in Edinburgh. First time living alone and being able to do what I want and when I want it. I like having control over what stuff I eat but it’s not like I hate my mom for how she does things. I appreciate all the work she does and living with your parents just makes being a student a little easier. It’s just sad sometimes, that I can’t as easily try new stuff or eat when I’m actually hungry and not when the designated family eating time is.
