Hi. Never been on reddit and new to Lemmy. I joined startrek.website and even though I am now looking at this community mu URL and heading say I am still on Startrek.website. Is this how instances work? Can I see any other communities or just one? How does this connect to other software like Mastodon? I’d be grateful if you could explain this to me. Sorry for my confusion: I am still getting used to this site.
