  • I will highlight one thing many people tend to have a misconception of: There is no such thing as an unbiased source. The thoughts of every person in the world are a reflection of their material conditions. Hence whatever a person reports will always be biased. A source can, however, be true or false but will always be biased one way or another. Some people reply with “Oh yeah, I meant least biased source.” There’s no such spectrum, it’s either biased or unbiased and an unbiased person would only be one who has had no past experiences on Earth whatsoever but even that is controversial.

What you can instead ask for is a reputable source which is truthful. But the dealbreaker here is that you will need to search for it. No one source will give you complete information always either. You will have to study multiple sources. That’s what reasearch is. If research was as easy as just sticking to one reputable source then it would be severely flawed.

Some people in the other comments recommended Wikipedia as a good source. Wikipedia isn’t really a good source but a good compilation of sources, but again, not always. I say you skip the article content itself on Wikipedia and scroll down to the Citations/References section and read those sources. That should be a starting point.

As for Marx. Just read Marx. My first paragraph here was written through a Marxist lens ironically. Some helpful links below if you get tired of Searching Wikipedia. (It’s mostly Anti-Communist) https://marxists.org/ https://marx2mao.com/
