Good points. However, I would argue that the DNC would absolutely fuck up picking a new nominee. They would pick some “centrist” unlikeable democrat that would try to appeal to a moderate middle that just doesn’t exist. They would run a flaccid campaign and manage to piss off everybody trying to appeal to everybody. Republicans would absolutely capitalize on the chaos.

That’s the huge take away here. The Chinese can’t comprehend that the DOD doesn’t have a social media control division. Yes we have the NSA and stuff spying, but they don’t control anything.

It was a sleepy little town of about 15,000 in the Portland metro area. It had some decent jobs (it’s actually the dental equipment manufacture’s western hub). Over time the cost of living there has exploded. It is within commuting distance of Wilsonville (Oregon’s tech hub) and Hillsboro (Nike/Intel). It is wine country as well. The locals are getting priced out of the area. As expected, when people feel they are getting left behind by society they turn to conservatism. Now you see the results of that. Conservative grifters promised more than they could ever deliver and wasted needed resources fighting losing ideological battles.

My wife has a cricut. It’s a little CNC plotter table that can make custom stickers, signs, and whatnot with a very clean UI. They are pretty popular with the stay-at-home mom crowd. That’s what most people fail to realize about the us elections. Literally nothing matters but voter turnout. Every election with high turnout goes to democrats. You’re not going to convince any Trump supporters to suddenly vote Biden. It’s Biden vs voter apathy, not Biden vs trump. I seriously doubt Trump actually picked his SC nominees. Some aid probably presented him with a list of three names and he picked the coolest sounding ones. They are Federalist Society judges, not MAGA republicans. They don’t give a shit about protecting Trump (except maybe the one with a huge conflict of interest)

Republicans always support a new war. These “aid” packages come in the form of weapons. These weapons come from republican donors. They start with supporting the new war and work their way back to why. Remember when Trump was trying to make an Iran war happen? Once you start moving around several thousands of dollars (10k?) they will always ask you so they can document it and report it to the IRS/FBI if necessary. In my experience, once you move around enough money to have to go to a banker’s desk verses a teller window they will want to know what’s going on.
