I will concede there is a spectrum of professional familial attitudes.

Here’s my uneducated theory: The “investor class” in society have been freaking out and become desperate due to global technological innovation not making the same progress as it did through the 80’s to the 2000’s. Rich people without jobs were really expecting something that would have as much (if not more) of an impact on consumer society as the smart phone.

I’m not missing the point. For most people it is fake and used as a tool against them. The “office family” is a tactic utilized by employers to make workers complacent without raising benefits. It’s in the same toolbox as “pizza parties” and “PTO donation”.

Not all people want to fake the “office family” dynamic.

Anthony Scaramucci: My favorite slimeball. Saw the other CHUDs in the Trump administration and then bounced after eleven days after realizing that “the juice ain’t worth the squeeze”. I wouldn’t turn my back on him, but I would trust him over all other Trump world alumni since he has enough self preservation not to burn the world around him.

Edit: He had an unhinged interview with a reporter and was dismissed a couple days after. Go listen to the audio; I’m laughing so god damn hard at it.
