I’m sorry for showing up so much there
No, almost all of them
So, how do you like it?
Holy hell! Those tricks are insane.
I’m not tied to my instance I AM MY INSTANCE
And during those 2 weeks I made 500 comments and almost 400 posts. Not picking sides, just saying that I’m tied to my instance now at this point.
Currently nothing but once activated they may start spamming stuff everywhere. Owners can decide what gets upvotes and what gets downvotes which gives you a lot of power on a platform where downvotes/upvotes mean everything.
Around 95% accounts are bots. Around 90% if we are positive and assume that a lot of redditors joined since the bot farming started.
Discord servers are also closed communities which makes it impossible to search for info through search engine
I agree, hiding things is not healthy for any kind of relationship
It’s crazy to me how I can recognise a user from a random screenshot on the platform lol
EU is already on the way to soon force them to do the same
Hmm, seems like you can do it now?
Wait wait wait, is it the game where barbarian is a character that allows you to get pretty far into the game as a beginner or something like that? If so then there’s a korean comic inspired by this game: https://www.asurascans.com/manga/4569947261-surviving-the-game-as-a-barbarian/

Short Answer
We don’t think federation is beneficial to Revolt and would actively hinder our stance on privacy. In short, federation is prone to leaking your metadata, could make removing your data harder, and we otherwise have no incentive to develop support if it we aren’t able to use it for the main platform (revolt.chat).
In terms of technical reasons:
- We don’t have the manpower or resources to implement federation into our protocol.
- It would be difficult to adopt our protocol to work with federation.
