It’s pretty common where I live, especially for people who grow up in conservative families. You start out assuming the trusted adults in your life are right about everything (or at least I did), but once you’re exposed to the world outside your bubble, you gradually (or not) change your mind on a lot of things.

I get that that’s different from, say, an adult with fully formed beliefs one day changing their mind, and that probably is pretty rare. Still, out of all the badass lefties I know, most of them did have at least a few years of cringy hardcore conservatism. 🤷

This takes me back to “gorilla, man, gun,” which was basically the baptist youth camp version of rock, paper, scissors. (It probably exists outside of that context, that’s just where I always played it shrug)

To be clear, I’m not trying to get into a man v bear debate here. But, like, a man could still kill you, right? Is that better than being eaten? I mean, I guess it’s probably less likely. I’m no expert on bears or random forest men.

Yeah, when I read the headline I figured it was saying that if you don’t vote, that means you’re actively supporting trump. But after reading the article, it’s definitely not saying that as far as I can tell.

I chalk it up to the headline being worded weirdly, and just the fact that people have been saying things sorta like that.

I mean yeah, probably they would know, but it wouldn’t hurt to talk to em. Either way, specific negative feedback from potential customers gives them at least a small incentive to change… not that it’d probably be significant enough to make a difference in this case. But hypothetically, if enough people did get upset about it and it hurt the business’ bottom line, I’d want them to know the reason.

Why do you say that? I guess that “unhealthy” isn’t very specific and could mean a lot of things. But health issues that are caused by malnutrition can certainly be worse than being fat. It just depends on the individual situation, I would think.
