Its in human nature to fear/dislike being rejected. Obviously downvotes are not nearly as bad as being rejected in real life but its more of death by a thousand cuts type of thing… Which is why I suspect most, if not all social media ends up being toxic to the person’s mental state.

Thanks! yea its looking surprisingly great…now to figure out how the fediverse organizes its communities… Is each instance a different version / server? with each instance having its own communities (subreddits) or each instance is the community grouping?

On a side note, its kind of fun and exhilarating how probably millions of people are trying to figure out this system at the same time
