What do you mean, we can’t throw him in prison!? IF we had a functional justice system he would have been hung as a traitor to the United States. He tried to overthrow the government and kill the vice president. There should have been no coming back from that. This isn’t just hearsay we saw it happen live. Then he sold documents to any foreign government who showed interest, which is also highly, HIGHLY illegal.

If the justice system is so broken as to not penalize a man who is attempted to take down our democracy multiple times, than project 2025 is inevitable. If it not illegal to overthrow the government, than why does it matter who we elect?

When poeple went on political rants at work I would say “let’s play a game. It’s called Don’t Talk Politics at Work. I’ll go first!” Then I would shut up, turn around and keep on working. Just replace politics with whatever. It’s low key funny with a deadpan delivery so I’ve never had anyone get mad at me for it.

I’m sorry your going through this. I had a stomach ulcer and couldn’t eat much solid food during that time. I survived on ensure, plain white rice and bananas. I definitely feel for you and hope that you are able to get some answers. My husband has been down the mystery medical problem route and it’s maddning. I wish you the best of luck, Mr. Squid.

It is the norm. I worked with a man who had seizeres and no health insurance. The first time he was introduced to me he said “Hi, I’m Tony. Listen, I have seizures. If I have one, DO NOT call an ambulance, no matter what. I can’t afford it.” He told us even if it looked like he was dying, to just let him go because he could never afford the bills if he lived.

This wasn’t some crappy part time job, this was my first big girl real job after graduating college. Like welcome to adulthood, you might have to helplessly watch your coworker die at your place of employment!

Exactly. Who the hell does it really hurt if your kid wants to wear dresses? Bigoted adults shouldn’t get to dictate what children wear or do not wear. I too hope that women gets to have all the dresses and pink and barbies she wants when she is finally free of her family.

My husband and I built our own home as well. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. We picked rocks and poured our own concrete foundations with a shitty harbor freight cement mixer. At times I thought I was going to lose my mind, but we did it. Podcasts saved me. I would set up my work area for the day, pick a pocast and let my mind wander while I put up yet another peice of drywall.

Hang in there. In my darkest moments I had to remind myself that every action was a step forward. Even just running to the hardware store. It is all a step forward. One step at a time, one day at a time. We did it, and you can do it too. I’m rooting for you buddy! It does get better!
