Totally made up claim, the average passenger car age is 12.2 years in the US, and 12 years in Europe. BMW market share is 2.4% in the U.S., 6.7% in Europe. Similar figures for Mercedes are 2.5% U.S. vs. 5% Europe.

It’s almost like the point of these scenarios is fun escapism and isn’t about perfectly simulating an apocalyptic wasteland down to the most mundane and uninteresting parts.
Also, they time travel past going to the shitter, sleeping, most of the journeys etc. So unrealistic that it’s literally unwatchable.
Sound more like the U.S. than Germany - Germany has the €49/month public transport ticket, relatively good public transport offerings and a green party that has the best election results of the western industrial countries. Of course shutting down nuclear power plants didn’t do them any favours regarding pollution.

Electric toothbrush makes my teeth feel soo much cleaner than a regular one - I used to have lots of cavities due to having extra sets of “inaccessible” teeth behind my wisdom teeth, and even got a prescription toothpaste with extra fluor. But now it’s all a breeze keeping them properly cleaned (I do need to use dental sticks with a small brush between every meal though).
Btw I use Arch
