7·7 months agoIf Trump somehow can eliminate taxes on social security, the fund will have to reduce benefits sooner than projected. The cut will only benefit 40% of recipients that pay taxes, and that lack of extra funds comming into the system will bring it closer to insolvency, sooner rather than later. So unless your brother is one the 40% that will immediately benefit from the tax cut, he’ll get to look forward to lower payments sometime in the nearer future.

21·7 months agoOK. I know this sounds ridiculous, but…what if this is all a secret agenda to prepare us for climate change? Make it too expensive to use gas or drive or buy stuff or buy food.
They slowly ween us off of our dependence on…everything, while making us think it was our idea. (Cause climate change doesn’t exist) We would have to go back to living with nothing, poor, and growing our own food. Everyone that can’t keep up is given a free meal and work…in jail.
I know, I know. I was just pretending there was a bit of some sort of humanity in this train wreck.
Really, it stems from having a bunch of old phones, bought outright, sitting around collecting dust. Some are obviously too old to be relevant, but there’s a couple that had some great features that kept degrading with the next iteration. HTC front speakers, galaxy camera, a headphone jack, and an SD card slot.
I used to take apart things like my dads old portable handheld TV, or my walkman, after I broke it, to see if I could fix it. It was hit or miss.I got the TV speakers to work again, but I had to get a new walkman. I drew the line at microwaves. But I see these phone breakdowns videos, and it looks kinda simple. I realize that there’s a ton of things going on beyond my (admittedly low) skill set, but wondered how far beyond. Like, was it something I could learn in a reasonable way, or was it just too much.
Seems like it’s wayyyy, far, over my head.
Well that seems like more effort than it’s worth… I figured the biggest issue would be fitting it into the phone, but that sounds like least of the worries.
Nah. Seasickness doesnt make you shit your pants. Depending on who you are, you may pee yourself a little, though.
When I was in my late teens, I ended up on a boat from Ft Lauderdale to the Bahamas. Theres no way no to go through just a little bit of the Burmuda Triangle. I remember freaking out / being super excited, wondering what crazy stuff things would happen on our journey. Of course, nothing happened. I was so disillusioned.

Furthermore, the PsychoticMammal name was used on Poshmark by a user whose avatar is a photo of Kofsky. It was also used on Tumblr by someone who linked to—and claimed as his own—a Blogspot maintained by a user named Aaron Kofsky, who posted personal details that match details of Kofsky’s biography.
Apparently, this guy left a huge trail… Edit: plus data breaches…
3·8 months agoTheres firestick apps that stream all the regular channels, plus all the premium channels. (HBO, showtime, stars, ppv, etc) Essentially for $10 - $20 a month you get the best, most decked out cable package one could buy. You may or may not have access to all the new and old movies, TV shows (from all the platforms), and porn, on demand, as well. Maybe like that?

Idk theres a car dealership that has a 2 level version of this. The middle part is raised and spins with the base. Its not as wide as the old ones, but it seems just as dangerous.
Then theres the single person versions that works off of like angled centrifugal force? Idk. It spins and spins just from body weight. They can start it on their own, but I’ve had random kids ask me to help them stop, cause they couldn’t do it themselves. I see variations of these in most newer playgrounds. Some have you sitting, some standing. Many parents still dont give a shit.
Racist people have been repeating this story long before trump ever took office. My father, decades ago, was always telling me this is why the family dogs would dissapear. Apparently, once a year, some gang (of non haitians) would come to our rural area, and steal the neighborhood pets.
Of course, our dogs would get hit by cars or shot, but it would happen to coincide with less barking of neighboring dogs (nah, it wasnt cause our wandering dog wasnt bothering them anymore /s) or another neighbor complaining their dog was missing, too.
I always thought it was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard, much less how the logistics worked out, but the story has been around for a very long time, even if some of the details have changed. These jerks have just co-opted another racist troupe to try to pander to their base.

I concur. I used to be able to leave a huge gap and nobody would care. I drove a manual and didn’t want the hassle of stopping. But, I tried this recently, and I ended up making the fast lane the slow lane and I had the guy behind me honking and yelling out his window to stop letting everyone in.
Piss off the wrong guy in Texas and see where that gets you. I was lucky all he did was honk and yell.
