Sure. Substitute “Lemmy” for whatever fediverse service it is mingling with.

If threads is incorporated into the larger fediverse, sure you’ll get a bump in dau, but threads will eventually dominate the user base. Then if they devide to cut ties with Lemmy sites, the fediverse basically loses 90% of engagement overnight.
Cheaper? yes. better? No. LLMs produce the most derivative inane BS that it would just act as filler. In classic RPGs and adventure games a lot of the filler dialogue was one line per NPC to represent a microcosm within a location. There’s nothing to be gained from theoretically infinite NPCs with theoretically infinite lines of pointless dialogue.
Do you have any tips for writing professional documentation? I want to do some for my workplace but it’s hard to know where to start, how to arrange it, etc
The higher the mortality rate the quicker people tend to get it under control. I guess that’s partially because a dead host is less likely to spread the infection, and partly because people take it more seriously than a bad cough.
A lot of people are expressing the sentiment that the government should have exposed and punished them, but quietly kicking out spies is par for the course. When this hits the media it’s generally a bad thing.
Everyone spies on everyone. Everyone knows they are getting spied on. You have to be careful how you respond because you don’t want to escalate. You make it known to the other government that they have been caught and you gently move them on as a show of good will. When your spies are caught abroad breaking laws you want them to do the same for you. Now that this has gone public, India lose face, which could cause future tension. Also, sometimes finding spies on home soil can be useful if you let them think they haven’t been caught.
The average citizen thinks you can use playground rules here, but espionage is all about being subtle.
I’m not trying to imply anything. I’ve just never had a feeling about my gender so I don’t really understand the concept. I was born a man, I present as a man, but I can’t say that I feel like a man, I just feel like me.
I’m afraid I don’t understand what violating the binary means, and it still seems to me that presenting female with a beard does not fit what I thought the binary of gender was supposed to mean.
So being non binary is more of a feeling than a state?
Isn’t the idea of binary having two socially defined entities: man, woman. Having someone who defies either definition is non binary. Opposing the idea that you can only be one or the other.
Conchita dresses half way between man and woman. Dresses, skirts, long hair, make up, beard. Even the name Conchita Wurst is a wordplay for “vagina penis”.
The example of a male presenting as female or somewhere between those two seems within the exact definition of non binary.
Maybe I’m ignorant, but by definition that seems non binary to me. Unless “non binary” no longer means non binary, and now it has some new trendy definition.
Does Conchita not count as non binary?
Paprika. I haven’t used anything else aside from having a folder of word documents.
Paprika allows you to copy/paste the URL of a recipe and it will download only the recipe. No more scrolling through a blog and a dozen ads looking for what you want. You can then create categories and tag recipes for any combination of categories.
It also has extra functions like meal planners, pantry inventory, and shopping list generators based on the meal plan and pantry, but I don’t use those.
It syncs between devices. The only real downside is you must purchase per platform type. If you bought the windows licence and you want it on your phone you must separately purchase the Android licence.
It was poor form for a media group to air an interview of someone in a current and high profile court case. The affect of the media attention prevented a fair trial and was completely unprofessional from Wilkinson.
How do you do this?
How does your music server work?
Comments like this sound like the “they write it off on tax” comments, where there’s this assumption about how complex things must work, but it can’t work exactly that way otherwise we would see it happening all the time.
I don’t know enough about law to know how that does or does not work, but it that’s possible then any entity with enough money can actively bankrupt anyone they want, and it won’t have anything to do with why. If that’s true could you not just sue someone by making stuff up and force them to prove you made it up?
Did the admins state anything? I thought the issue here is that LW previously did something without an announcement, undid it and promised to communicate before doing something like that again, and now people are saying they haven’t communicated this time.
That’s the real issue, not the fact that it was defederated.
What can’t you play?
