  • Fireworks might be beautiful for a moment, but they leave behind a trail of harm.

    They pollute the air with toxic chemicals and fine dust, spiking asthma and breathing problems. After events like July 4th or Diwali, air quality drops dangerously — and people with lung issues feel it immediately.

    The noise isn’t just loud — it’s traumatizing. Pets panic, birds die, and people with PTSD or autism often suffer in silence.

    Tradition isn’t a good excuse when it causes this much damage. Not all traditions are worth keeping — especially when they hurt the most vulnerable.










  • Happy to see that somebody else shares the same situation.

    I usually don’t spend more than 24h around her anymore because that’s the max I can handle pure smalltalk. But I haven’t foubd a healthy way to handle this because it changed me as a whole over the last years where I kind of lost the ability to make deep interesting talks with everyone else too. How are you handling this?
