Wait until you see the Nepalese flag. It’s not even a rectangle!
(It’s also the only flag in the world to be mathematically defined by its country’s constitution)

That could realistically be around 1/3 yearly profit in a reasonable company (18% operating margin is common). No idea whether Twitter is currently profitable (it wasn’t when he bought it).
Blue MAGA
It’s not even 8am and I’ve already read the dumbest shit I’ll see all day
Ooh, and they’re deficit deadlifts too. Nice.
At this point, I think the best thing would be for Biden to run, get re-elected, and then die early in his term to make Kamala Harris the President. I’m not super thrilled about her but I think she’s better than just about any other option we’ve got at the moment.
I just don’t trust this fucking electorate to vote for a Black, Indian, Woman for president.
I mean, that just kinda proves the point further?
Anybody that’s gonna vote for Trump is gonna vote for him regardless of who his VP is. The VP is only TeChNiCaLlY an elected office, because 99.99% of people are voting for the president and not the VP.
I mean, it’s a pretty key difference that she was only elected in that she was attached to the ticket that people were actually voting for.
Makes me want to buy some campaign signs…
“Oust RINO Ted Cruz, vote All-Red for senate this November!”
The US dollar is never worth less nor more than than 1 US Dollar. If you owe a debt in USD, the size of that debt does not change based on the purchasing power of the dollar.
That’s beside the point, because you don’t pay taxes in denominations of “loaves of bread”, you pay them in US dollars. If you pay with an asset that is wont to change its value in US dollars on a whim, that’s a gamble for the government. There’s a reason people don’t regularly pay taxes with stock options.
While I agree with the sentiment here, this is pretty 1-dimensional. For one, US support of Ukraine actually has little to do with democracy and everything to do with national sovereignty. One nation with imperial ambitions invaded another nation without pretense, US provides aid to stave off that invasion.
Hypocritical given US history of imperialism? Sure. But it’s NOT imperialism under the mask of democracy.
Similar arguments apply to various points on this list. Supporting NATO is about maintaining a military alliance against common enemies, not spreading democracy.
I mean…
[Gestures wildly at the state of the USA]
Yeah.
I thought it was a photoshop. That shit is actually real, lol.
“I did that” sticker people in shambles
Get enough of a majority in congress that she can be impeached (and convicted). Not possible with a 51/50 split in the senate. It’d take damn near 67 dem senators. Maaaaaaybe they can get 1 or 2 Rs to flip but it’s a long shot.

I mean, this is a useful law for those concerned with the excessive force against pro-palestine protestors, because the definition it references specifically calls out criticism of Israel as a state not being antisemitism.
If you read the text of the act, it really doesn’t do much of anything. Doesn’t expand the powers of the department of education or any law enforcement agency, just clarifies the definition of antisemitism used in existing laws about discrimination. The exact definition proposed is from the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance:
Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or non-Jewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.
Nothing involving criticism of the government of Israel. That said, they do offer a little bit of clarification on their website:
Manifestations might include the targeting of the state of Israel, conceived as a Jewish collectivity. However, criticism of Israel similar to that leveled against any other country cannot be regarded as antisemitic.
I really don’t see anything worth getting worked up about. This is about as standard, boring government as it gets.
Disjointed
