  • “If we’re going to continue to have clowns like Matt Gaetz as part of the Republican conference, as part of this Congress, then you’re going to have to have rules in place that prevent him from doing his charade. Every single week, every single month, where he goes out and he does his thing where he creates some manufactured crisis” that he then uses to raise money, Graves said.

Can’t see the forest for the trees! Where do you think Matt learned it from?!

  • I used to use reddit with Reddit Enhancement Suite (RES), a browser add-on/extension that has tons of customizations. This was even before there was an old/new reddit, it was just reddit.

So it’s not that we chose to use “old” reddit, it was that we chose not to use “new” reddit. Going to the new design breaks RES and we would’ve missed out on all of those customizations and quality-of-life features that were missing without it.

Plus, “new” reddit is designed for doom-scrolling and serving adds, and not about promoting users to engage in dialog. Most of my reddit interaction was around niche content, where I actually dived deep into threads. New reddit got in the way of that.

  • I remember crashing in a friends room after a night of hard drinking, sleeping in a reclining chair. He gets up in the middle of the night, walks over to the closet, unzips, and straight up takes the longest piss I’d ever heard to date. Right on the carpet, which makes really curious splash sounds within the first several seconds of becoming saturated.

So yeah, moving voluminous amounts of liquid through the human osmotic filtration system. I’m actually still quite surprised to this day that he didn’t piss all over himself in his sleep instead (or worse). And that was high school, I wince to think about how college went for him.

  • They (his supporters, some at all ranks) knew he was a lying, cheating, fraudulent, uncouth, and dishonorable piece of shit.

They also knew he would continue being the same piece of shit if/when he got into office, unapologetically cheating any way he could to get his way.

In fact, I think that’s exactly why his supporters supported him. To hell with the law and democracy, gotta stick it to the dems.

With ever looming shutdowns now being threatened by an extremist right faction of idiots, I wonder if the gop masters are finally now realizing the chickens have come home to roost. The hate and idiocy stoked to get support for extremism is now going to affect the bottom line of billionaires (the US’s credit rating is about to get cut, and being unstable is not good for business).
