Well, ultimately states were designed as a check against federal power. If you live in a red state you’re pretty fucked, but at least pockets of democracy might survive to repopulate the federal government again. maybe.

Southern Alaska doesn’t get any sea ice and even if they do, Alaska has a bunch of hot springs so Geothermal seems like a useful investment for much of the state.

i guess I’m worried that I won’t know how to connect with any kind of resistance since I don’t have a lot of friends.

tidal and geothermal are options.
