Donald Trumpā€™s repeated gaffes, non sequiturs and unusual behavior have opened the door to questions from opponents about the 78-year-old Republican presidential nomineeā€™s mental and physical fitness.

From bopping to the beat of his music playlist for nearly 40 minutesĀ at a recent swing state town hallĀ to his pro-Vladimir Putin blaming of Ukraine forĀ Russiaā€™s invasion, to criticizing former President Abraham Lincoln for not ā€œsettlingā€ the Civil War, to riffing on locker room gossip aboutĀ a pro golferā€™s anatomy, Trump is providing plenty of fodder for rivals whoā€™ve declared him ā€œunhingedā€ and worse.

As Republicans did to 81-year-oldĀ President Joe Biden earlier this year, Democrats includingĀ horror novelist Stephen KingĀ and former presidents Bill Clinton andĀ Barack ObamaĀ are seizing every opportunity to bash Trump āˆ’ and itā€™s a target-rich environment.
