Again, I think youāre expecting too much from The Daily Beast. This is the type of article they write to get clicks. This article isnāt from the New York Times or the Washington Post, but an internet site that specializes in splashy headlines and blunt articles.
Itās like youāre criticizing a donkey for being a donkey. āI just canāt put my finger on why, but I donāt like that donkey.ā Maybe stay away from the donkey farm then.
I didnāt say they had low standards, I said they have splashy headlines and blunt articles. In my experience their articles are factual, they just donāt beat around the bush, or sugar coat it, or whataboutulism it like the more traditional mainstream media. Theyāre blunt about it, thatās their identity to get clicks. My suggestion was for you not to read articles from The Daily Beast if you donāt like their style. Or if you do read them, donāt criticize. Criticizing their style is nonsensical, like criticizing a donkey for being a donkey. That donkey may notā¦ how did you put it, sit right with youā¦ but that doesnāt mean thereās anything wrong with the donkey.
