Hello wonderful people of PrivacyGuides, I hope my question is relevant to this community.

I couldn’t find if this question has been asked before, but I’m looking for a more privacy friendly way to get notified when my favourite artists are gonna have show somewhere near me.

Things to mention: Convinience is not an issue. I’m not currently selfhosting so no server solutions unfortunately.

    5 alternatives listed on AlternativeTo are all proprietary https://alternativeto.net/software/songkick/

    Not very familiar with this, but with how ticketing and venues are consolidated all the agreggated information is probably put behind paid API hence no FOSS alternatives. Could be wrong though.

    Songkick is def one of my most used apps. Commenting to watch for suggestions.

    The best I can think of is listenbrainz which has the functionality but isn’t very used.
