FBI officials who searched former President Donald Trumpâs Mar-A-Lago estate in 2022 did not search a locked closet and âhidden roomâ for White House documents, ABC News reported Thursday, raising questions about whether Trump concealed more classified documents from the federal government.

Citing anonymous sources, ABC News reports FBI officials did not search a locked closetâwhich investigators learned after the search that Trump had changed the lock on months earlierâwhile his attorney searched the property for classified materials to turn over the government in response to a subpoena.
Investigators found the locked closet, but were reportedly told that the space behind the door âwent nowhereâ and so decided not to try and open it, according to ABC.
Officials also were not aware at the time of a âhidden roomâ in Trumpâs bedroom, and thus did not search it, ABC reports.
