• Asterius - Terrific, sprawling, puzzle-ish roguelike, easy to play but with lots of secrets to discover, and a long learning curve to win. (note: Iā€™ve written a guide with hints, which Iā€™d only recommend using as a last resort)

  • Bounty Hunter Space Lizard - Ah, so delicious. Itā€™s a fun roguelike, a bit like Pixel Dungeon, but with more condensed runs, and loads of character. As with PD, youā€™ll move through different stages and battle different end-bosses.

I would like to add Payback 2, originally (since 1999) a nice and technically impressive GTA 1/2 clone, now it grew past just that concept and includes a bunch of game modes and nice multiplayer

Iā€™ve probably spent at least 100 hours playing Solomonā€™s Boneyard / Solomonā€™s Keep.

You pick a wizard and in Boneyard you fight waves of enemies and in Keep itā€™s more like a dungeon crawler.

Nice list, I was bit worried at first itā€™d be all roguelikes because of the first 3 games.

Total Party Kill looks really original and interesting, looking forward to try it.

Iā€™m also surprised My Friend Pedro is on mobile and free. Iā€™ve heard of it and thought itā€™s a normal indie PC game.
