I hope you’re right. It’s entirely possible you are and this is being politicized and publicized precisely because of ongoing events. But I sincerely hope the number does go up because of current events.

This is something that happens all the time, why are you calling it “so rare”?
So you’re claiming “those monsters” includes non-members of the military who are up for conscription? I.e. every Israeli?
1), that’s bad faith and 2) If you go to jail because you refused to serve, no I would not consider you a monster, quite the opposite.
It isn’t rare at all, the news is just primed to latch onto this stuff now.
