Hillary Clinton is facing a deluge of criticism after stating that young Americansā growing support for Palestinians is influenced by ātotally made-upā videos on TikTok and suggesting that American youth - including young Jews - ādonāt know history and donāt understandā Israelās war on Gaza.
Speaking on Tuesday at a summit hosted by the right-wing Israeli paper Israel Hayom in New York City, the former Democratic presidential candidate expressed her concerns that āsmart, well-educated young peopleā in America and around the world are getting a lot of their information, including about Israel and Palestine, from social media platforms like TikTok.
The former US secretary of state described it as āserious problem for democracyā, remarking that when she attempted to have āreasonable discussionsā with young people, it was challenging because āthey did not know history, they had very little context, and what they were being told on social media was not just one-sided, it was pure propaganda".

We need to stop calling them centrists and call a spade a spade. Theyāre conservatives, plain and simple.
I donāt even like using that stupid left-right sliding scale to describe American politicians anymore. Thatās not what most of these people are. They are just conduits for oligarchy to filter money from the working class to the elites and donāt hold any real personal ideology beyond that. They campaign on divisive social issues but for the majority of them thatās really where it truly ends within the context of political ideology as a working class man OR as someone who studies the philosophy of politics understands it.
Youāve successfully and correctly identified the problem with using the āleft-right sliding scaleā to describe America as being that there is no left.
