Like, to quickly show a reader how a name is spelled for paperwork, etc. Something that makes the text take up the entire size of the screen or something like that.

A crude but simple way would be to save a HTML file with a textarea. Type in the text and pinch to zoom.

I’ve been using embiggen on android for years but a foss alternative would be nice.
