        Yup. There was a time when Ferrari was untouchable with objectively the best car. Hamilton (McLaren/Mercedes at the time) was the only one in the field who would regularly give Schumacher a run for his money. Everyone else was happy with third.

          What are you talking about? Schumacher retired from Ferrari in 2006, Hamilton came into F1 in 2007. And when Schumacher came back with Mercedes, he only had 1 Podium before retiring again.

      This is F1 in a nutshell. The pool of drivers are all pretty good but they don’t really matter. Its all about the engineering and money.
