As an American I want you to tell them about how we failed. Tell them how we let capitalism grow unhindered. Tell them how we never even bothered to secure our most personal data. Tell them we challenged the status quo and the status quo won. Tell them we idolized imbeciles. Tell them we never listened to the ones watching from the outside. Tell them we stunted our youth and poisoned our planet. Tell them we never loved, or trusted, our neighbors, family or friends. Tell them we made our primal desires our only interests.

Tell them the same things they’ve always told us and it was still not enough. And because of it you lost so many.

Maybe this goes both ways. At the same time, don’t just resign, but tell your fellow citizens how European people have the option to mobilize large amounts of people for protests. How they sometimes collectively refuse to work for a day (or more) if it’s really bad. And I’m not sure if I’d like to advertise for outright war, but there have been cases where people barricade the streets, vandalize public property and burn arbitrary stuff to make a point… (It just can’t be a single person or terrorism… It needs to be like 200,000 people, determined to show how pissed they are about the situation.)

Don’t give up hope. Fight for what is right. Resist the unjust.

Resist until no longer oligarchs rule your country.

Resist until just law and rightful order has been restored.

This is a critical moment, so don’t give up.

(for legal reasons I cannot advocate for violent behavior)

I drive on highways loaded with people going here or there always everyday. I think about how I’m just another car on the road. Think about how a bus could probably take us all where we need to go. Except we still get in these death traps all because we don’t even want to look at each other. So I try. I do. I just think about where all my resisting is going to land me if things really get as bad as I hope they don’t. So I left a note to those who might still be around who need to read it.
