Nextcloud Talk ils a great option for families. But if you expect to use the Video Call feature, prepare for a lot of headache. I tried multiple time configuring it, never managed to make it work for longer than one call.

I didn’t see it on the community, I through, considering how active the subject was at first, that it would be of interest to the community.

But the fact that it wasn’t NSFW at first may have worked in their defavor, that’s true.

We don’t use them in the West as we have robust viccine that are injection based. But those vaccine requires a way more robust supply chain than many third world countries has, so oral vaccine, while not as effective as injection based vaccine, are used there.
Problem with oral vaccine is that most pathogens are killed by the digestive system so the only one that could be made as a pill would be those who already are acclimated to such a harsh environment (so gut microbiology).
There are very few digestive disease that would allow for such vaccine vector to be developed, the only one that could these last few decade would be Ebola. But for such a deadly disease (90% mortality if I remember well), the medical community would prioritize the most effective way, which would be injection.

Basically instead of injecting the weaker virus itself, they trick the body to produces non-active parts of that pathogens in order to train the body.

Dremor@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.world•Zelensky confirms Israel sent Patriot missile battery to Ukraine, says more coming in fallEnglish74·24 days agoSure, a watered down definitions. Like the Nazi watered down the definition of humanity to exclude minority groups (like the Jews) to make it “OK” to kill them.
The UN definition of genocide is a commonly agreed definition by the international community, to not only encompass the clear genocides, like WW2 genocide or the Rwanda one, but also more pernicious way of committing genocide, like Israel is currently doing. And Israel is part of the UN, they had a say in that definition.
Genocide is about denying a group their humanity, by robbing them of their lives (as an example through indiscriminate bombardment), famine, or simply killing them at random for being on the wrong side of the road (which, of course, change every other day).
Other means are by trying to destroy their culture (as an example Ukraine invaded land where every trace of their culture is being erased), which Isreal does by removing their “unwanted population” way of life (robbing their land in Palestine, building roads made to prevent them from being able to reach their usual pastures). The current Israeli government doesn’t even hide their ambition. They want all for Palestine land, without the Palestinian that lives there for centuries. There are no other way to achieve that than genocide, be it brutal, like the final solution, or insidious, like the Russification of the Donbas. Israel is in between. Brutal, but disguised enough to not create on outright reaction from the global community. A slow but steady murder of a population, while distracting other with claims of terrorism (which are partiality correct), and antisemitism (which, once again, are sometime correct, but very rarely lately).
But the only way to prove or disprove any of those side would be for journalist to go and see by themselves. Which is steadily being denied by no other than the Israeli government.
So the only ones that can report on what happen are either the locals, which Israel take good care of silencing, or the IDF, which of course tells everyone to go look elsewhere. In conclusion, both side are as evil as the other. Which is why I’d support none of them. But there are innocent populations in between, that all have the right to live a happy and peaceful life. Those are the people I’d support, not the living trash that govern both.

And considering it is on the game pass, 4.4 million is quite good.
That’s indeed what we asked to do next time for big events. But when no such big event occurs, it’s OK.
In my opinion, the following trailers are acceptable :
- Announcement of a new game -> so we can start talking about that game
- Announcement of end of early access or of game release (like Hades 2 recently) -> So we can talk about the game at its release state
- Major update of updates of a game (as soon as it isn’t too often) -> So we can discuss how that specific update make that game evolve, for better or worse. I’d honestly still prefer those one to be kept to their dedicated communities, but one from time to time won’t kill anyone.
Globally, that’s also a way to advertise dedicated communities for that specific game, so I think that’s alright.
We’ll discuss all of this with the incoming community rules update.
