Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem fell victim to a thief while eating dinner at a downtown Washington, DC, restaurant Sunday night, the secretary confirmed Monday.
Do normal people routinely carry around $3,000 in cash? (Granted, that could just be the original Picasso that I swear was in the trunk of my Geo Metro when it was stolen).
That’s an awful lot of cash to have. What do you need that for? Better “arrest” that money and take it down to the station.

I have had a hundred dollar bill in my wallet for a week because it makes me feel fancy. Someone paid me back in cash and I have just kept it.
People who make bribes on a frequent basis might!
But the envelope it was in clearly had “NOT a bribe” written on the outside, so no smoking gun, I’m afraid.
