It’s hard to tell from this one report but it doesn’t seem like this was a particularly bad outcome. Of course it’s unfortunate that a bystander was killed but it sounds like they successfully prevented an even worse outcome. Besides, there are tons of stories of cops injuring or killing more than one bystander in situations like this. When it comes down to it I’m more inclined to trust the judgment of a commited private citizen than the police.

There’s no tricks involved in being able to maintain a different beat with all four limbs though. That’s just natural talent and many years of practice.

I didn’t say it was impossible to do. I said it’s a convenient explanation to stop people from asking more questions. Companies could say (and I would bet good money that a non-zero amount of them are saying) they are doing this without actually doing it.

I don’t know what sources you’re referring to but I live in a place in the US that has been choked out by wildfire smoke multiple times a summer for the last several years and no one really talks about it. It’s not acknowledged as a new phenomenon or related to climate change at all. At most you hear a “smoky out today huh?”

Dude could have been cast as a white walker and HBO would have saved a ton in VFX and makeup costs.

That is not even close to the same thing as giving two consecutive Nazi salutes in front of millions of people.

Even aside from that, I see 12 guys in the picture. If we assume this is a stock photo and the actual number was 5 times higher that’s still only 60 people. If a foreign country or terrorist organization was invading you with 60 dudes in parachutes you could almost call the local shooting club and let them handle it. That’s hardly worth the label “invasion”.
