Totally agree with you there. I’d like to believe he did next time they talked.
To add to the commenter who already replied, Costco is a “club” where you pay an annual membership fee to shop.

I just ate steak, but now I want a sandwich with Doritos on top.
I thought I was the only one! You put them in the middle then press it slightly so they go “crunch” a little. Yum!
Nope, nothing wrong with that!
Yup… happened to my friend who lives in Mississippi, and a few of my clients. One person was raped by their church camp counselor, but that didn’t stop their former therapist from suggesting religion. I honestly don’t understand how someone can be so tone deaf.
My husband and I have separate blankets. Allows for better temperature regulation (he runs way hotter than me), and we never fight over the blanket.

ickplant@lemmy.worldto Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•Healthcare workers should have combat like ribbons like the military has. Like first responders got during 9/11.6·24 days agoIt always amuses me when local shops/restaurants give discounts to cops but not to mental health workers. Like, we often clean up trauma inflicted by cops. Get your priorities straight.
Most of my clients know why they are coming, it’s childhood (or other) trauma. That doesn’t mean they don’t get to have new insights on the topic. Also, while we talk, that’s not my main modality. We do EMDR and similar therapies that actually help people process the trauma. I’ve seen it change lives.
This isn’t mine, but it’s random enough:
