It’s part of the strategy. Keep people’s heads spinning and see what sticks. Even if one or two things survive, it pushes everything towards their goal.

This. You have to install the Windows version with Proton, sadly. They stopped support for the native Linux build.
It was a streamed app you could get from web sites and stuff. It was stupid and made little sense.
I doubt this crash is Boeing’s fault. The airframe in this crash was considered very safe.
The more probable cause is Air India being lax in safety.
Fetterman: Proving that the more brain damage you have, the more MAGA you get.
Chances are you’ve had the same public IP for a long time. Mine hasn’t changed in 2 years.
Your “IP address” is already public. That’s why an IPv4 address is assigned to you as a “public IP address” and you NAT to a private space. When using IPv6, everything is public.
The key is to secure everything with access restrictions.
Just because Ubuntu left it behind doesn’t mean there aren’t distros still supporting 32 bit.
However, anything still running x86 without x86_64 support is hella old at this point.
While I agree, why so much punctuation?
And failing, apparently
Sonic Origins used the same engine and basically was like “people seem to like classic Sonic games. Let’s make Sonic Mania themed in Genesis era games”.
And yet…they STILL fucked it up. Not as badly as they usually do, mind you, but still.
There is no “objective” when talking about subjective terms.
My personal, SUBJECTIVE favorites are Mass Effect, Titanfall 2, Subnautica, Stardew Valley, Ori and the Blind Forest, Dave the Diver, Balatro, and Portal 1 and 2
It’s always interesting seeing the different experiences people have. I have way less problems on Linux with games than I do on Windows. Mostly because every time I would boot into Windows, I’d have to spend 15-20 minutes on a good day installing patches for games and Windows Updates.
Are you sure about that? You still have to step through a dozen setup screens and forcefully sign into a Microsoft account. Then, you have to update your new computer and reboot 4-5 times to install all updates often sequentially.
Meanwhile, in Linux-land, it installs the latest packages and updates during install when using a net installer.
I made the jump two years ago. I started with a 512GB SATA SSD with Windows and then my main drive on Linux.
There aren’t any games I play regularly that don’t “just work” on Linux, but I also get that can depend on the person. I hope you can get there one day.
Until then…maybe dual boot?
Thanks for the PTSD.
You can turn that off and apply patches live, if you prefer. It’s just a toggle.
Technically rebooting and installing updates is “safer” but I’ve never had an update applied to a running system fail catastrophically, because unlike Windows, operating system components are compartmentalized. As such, restarting most system components causes no issues with functionality for everything else.
As much as I absolutely adore Bernie, the guy needs a rest. He’d be starting as VP for a potential 8 year period of two terms at 86…That means he’d be 94 by the time he left office. The man is an absolute beast, but father time catches up with us all and I don’t want to see his final days in politics to be a sad decline after everything he’s given. He deserves to serve as a badass senator, like he always has, until a progressive gets elected as president and then retire.
AOC and Pete Buttigeig as VP, on the other hand…or Tim Waltz again…or Elizabeth Warren for a double team, all woman ticket? Hell yeah.
Would have been an easy way to get our first black woman as president, if he’d won.
That’s Russia and China in a nutshell. Trump does it too, but that’s just because he’s mimicking daddy Putin.
