Dare to be stupid!
I wonder if the bison in the picture has any
Where’s the chick who does vocals?

Only seeing the light when it affects them directly. Classic.

The whole concept of “curing cancer” is such a trope. Cancer is a condition, and it annoys the fuck out of me that people treat it as one disease like measles or the flu.

This one blog post (which is clearly a personal vendetta) is always cited when people dislike Kagi. The product itself is fantastic, and the optional AI-ish features are optional and not shoved in your face. As a subscriber, I get a yearly questionnaire sent to me which polls for customer priorities, areas for improvement, and general comments. I gladly fill it out every time, and this year I said “re-focus on search, the core product. Stop spreading resources so thinly.” I know I’m not the only one answering this way lately.
There will always be haters of a company and personal beefs which inform that. Vlad is no saint but he’s honest and direct. He believes in providing a great service and it’s worth every penny I pay for it. That can change in the future and I would rethink my stance; in the meantime, I pay for a product I like and use all the time.

That’s a pretty good Black Mirror plot, it would be hilarious. Too bad the current “AI” isn’t even capable of math.

Ah, thank you. Unintentional shitpost then? :)

So then Reddit makes more money because they can charge more for an ad slot due to higher page views. There is no way to use Reddit without them making more money.

What am I looking at here?

Do you block their ads? Even if you do, they use your page view numbers to sell slots to ad companies at a higher price.

There’s still no reason to believe that they don’t have a back door to the message content. It’s closed source, and they’re an evil company whose entire business model is surveillance through lack of privacy. I know where I would put my chips.

I still don’t get it. If WhatsApp is ok, why not Facebook messenger? Why not instagram dm’s? Meta alleges that WhatsApp is “encrypted”, but why would anyone believe that? Is “trust me bro” good enough for the government of a nuclear power? And yes I know the US is no better, but India’s government relying on a commercial product from an American spy company is bonkers. It would be like the the EU using WeChat.

I don’t understand why this is just ok everywhere. People are swearing off American tech in droves, yet somehow this one gets a free pass.

It’s Walmart, what did you expect?
If only there were free public transport provided to every student outside a small radius of the school. That would make things so much simpler!
Seriously, I can’t wrap my head around this. Back in my day, pickup lines simply didn’t exist. You walked or you took the bus.

I loved those things! Same with the Peanuts ones.
Shut up and take my pixels!
