In 1-3 years when they believe they will be running for office during an election that will potentially have far more people fleeing the MAGA agenda as people see the results, they will want to distance themselves and appear to have maybe been a more “moderate” Republican candidate. Hard to do standing next to a military vehicle resembling those that you rolled into metropolitan cities and whatever ensued occured because of it.

If there was anything notable in the reports one of the next 2 presidents would have either used it for political gain for their party, or destroyed the evidence when they could. The documents often aren’t fake, otherwise they wouldn’t be getting tracked down by their names. Many come to the U.S. on a student visa or work visa or such. And the student gets a job while working to pay for food/life while they are here. When they are done with school or drop out, they are still working. Which makes them now an illegal immigrant, but they still want food the next day, they already have a residence they were staying at and a job they were working, and the taxes they were paying into. They just can’t collect social security and such because they can’t submit paperwork and such when they are no longer legally here.

For instance Musk moved to the U.S. around 1992, on a student Visa. He did not become a Citizen until 2002. Yet he sold his company to eBay in 2002 (established in 1995). His Visa would have been long expired as he stopped going to school in 1997 supposedly. So 5 out of the 7 years he established growing his company within the U.S. he would have been considered an illegal immigrant. This is something he admitted to on broadcasts before.

Well both Trump and Elon have Russian ties. Right now Trump is the bigger asset to them. So if they publicly offer asylum to Musk, it makes Elon look like the worse bad guy and make Trump less bad and possibly slow any attempts to having him removed by the Senate.

So Russia can get Elons money being spent there, and Trump’s dumbassery trying to reduce and remove sanctions against Russia.

Yeah, I think they are just pointing in the line of succession doesn’t do much if the VP was chosen by the president. We only made it 4 electiona before the 12th amendment was made and killed any hopes that the line of succession would be useful and Washingtons hopes that we wouldn’t become a 2 party system were completely dashed.

Without the 12th Amendment I have no idea who would be president right now. Biden would have never been Vice President and such likely would have never been President. Harris the same. But the President would likely have an obstacle at all times in the Senate as the only way to get both the President and Vice President elected for the same “party” they would have to have 2 candidates beat 1 of another party, splitting the vote of their own party. In today’s media age, it would be really hard to have gotten that done.
