It helps to define what processed food is, specifically what constitutes “processed”

    From Wikipedia:

Food processing is the transformation of agricultural products into food, or of one form of food into other forms.

Food processing takes many forms, from grinding grain into raw flour, home cooking, and complex industrial methods used in the making of convenience foods.

Tertiary food processing is the commercial production of what is commonly called processed food.[2] These are ready-to-eat or heat-and-serve foods, such as frozen meals and re-heated airline meals.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_processing

TLDR; anything you do to a food item besides picking it up and eating it raw is considered “processing” if you want to be pedantic.

Colloquially, “processed foods” as a marketting and culinary phrase typically means “Tertiary Food Processing” but thats too many words to say every time you want to discuss potato chips

  • i appreciate the summary but i had to google like half of these words and stumbled into a twitter post where someone was doing the whole “it is with a heavy heart blah blah blah gone before their time!” routine about Lira’s death

and something about the tone of the message felt like when a fascist tries to sound like a real person (i lack the literary chops to explain this, so i hope you understand)

So i looked up that user’s name and it was a far right podcaster

I dont have a conclusion for this little anecdote, its just funny how someone can sound like a bootlicker even when saying non-boot-licky things

They also used this person’s death as a soapbox to preach against the Joe Biden administration, which is a very righty thing to do (because they are incapable of human emotions like empathy)

  • im almost certain this is a breastfeeding/pumping room, but given a neutral name

Either way, it seems like a nice place to take 10 and scroll on my phone for a minute so i support it

the real question would be what sort of limitations does your employer have around it?

Ive worked at places that had ping pong tables and videogame stations in the break room but if you only get a 30min break for a 8 hour shift when are you meant to use these “happiness and welness” facilities
